SAWBLADE SERENADE WHO & WHY
SAWBLADE SERENADE is the ugly stepchild of Tame Impala and Johnny Cash with the spiritual godfather being Tom Waits. The problem is the parents of this band divorced before their bastard child was born, and some say they never met at all. ​

We love the broken, the bruised, the honest and misused.

We are the champions of the poor and dispossessed. But if a billionaire wants us to promote their vision for oligarchy, we're down if the price is right.
Our songs take place in a Salvadorean pawn shop on Van Nuys Boulevard, in the honky tonks of Texas and Southern California, and in the boardrooms of New York City where we are occasionally employed as janitors.
